Domestic Violence

August 31, 2009 3 comments

Now that the  niceties of my introduction to this syndicate are over, I shall now dive head first into the deep and murky waters.

And to make a splash, I shall tackle the issue of domestic violence.

Firstly, the definition of domestic violence.

“Domestic violence is any threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between adults who are or have been in a relationship, or between family members. It can affect anybody, regardless of their gender or sexuality.

The violence can be psychological, physical, sexual or emotional. It can include honour based violence, female genital mutilation, and forced marriage.” – British Home Office

Now, the majority of people (myself included until a few short weeks ago) are under the impression that domestic violence is something that happens to purely women, from their male partners. Seems sensible really – men are larger and more aggressive, and feminists are happy to admit to this. Yet note what the Home Office says. “…it can affect anybody.” Hmm, interesting.

So, I dug around through various government and univeristy websites and pdfs. And lo and behold I find some interesting statistics.

DV Myths

  • According to the FBI, a woman is beaten every 15 seconds - The FBI a) does not collect statistics on domestic violence, and b) has never said such a thing
  • 4,000 women each year are killed by their husbands, ex-husbands, or boyfriends [in the USA] - The stats just don’t add up to this. Total homicides of women is at about 5000, which means 80% of murders are from DV, which doesn’t seem right. Looking through and adding up all cases where the husband or partner was the murderer, there are about 1500 incidents. And this is counting all of them as domestic violence (some may well be related to gangland violence, retribution/crimes of passion etc etc). Either way, the figure is much smaller.
  • All women, of all races, creeds, incomes and educations, are just as likely to be recipeinets of domestic violence  – technically true, but even adjusting for income and education, those from African or Middle Eastern nations, those below the poverty line and in the age range 18-30, are more likely to be a victim of abuse.

Domestic Violence ‘Acceptable’ Truths

I am not going to totally piss on feminism’s parade. There are some truths in their assumptions. Namely that men are more likely to commit sustained abuse on women (though it is hard to adjust for men may be more likely to leave abusive relationships, but perhaps not). And that serious injury and fatalities are  more likely to occur to abused women. The figures range from 2 to 10 times increased risk, depending on the report, and I will go with the Bureau of Justice’s report ‘Intimate Partner Violence Has Declined’, which puts it at about 3 times. (on a side note, in 1975, chance of injury and homicide was almost equal between genders. I wonder why this difference has opened up)

Inconvenient Truths

  • The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report says :  “In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases. [emphasis added] Reciprocity was associated with more frequent violence among women, but not men.” [Source: Whitaker, Haileyesus, Swahn and Saltzman, Differences in Frequency of Violence and Reported Injury Between Relationships With Reciprocal and Nonreciprocal Intimate Partner Violence, American Journal of Public Health, May 2007, Vol 97, No. 5, pp. 941-947, http://www.ajph.org/cgi/content/abstract/97/5/941]
  • Cal State Psychology Professor Martin Fiebert has assembled a bibliography of 175 scholarly investigations: 139 empirical studies and 36 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners. [emphasis added] http://www.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm
  • Of all persons who suffer an injury from partner aggression, 38% are male. [Source: John Archer: Sex differences in aggression between heterosexual partners: A meta-analytic review. Psychological Bulletin, Vol. 126, No. 5, pages 651-680]

Why Feminists can ‘claim’ there are ‘no abused men’

According to the National Family Violence Survey, female victims of DV are nine times more likely to call the police than male DV victims. These are the percentages of victims who called the police in response to the assault, with 8.5% of women calling the police, and only 0.5% of males.

Blind surveys where anonymity is preserved shows equal rates of domestic violence between the sexes.

Conclusion

Domestic Violence is serious, and very much exists. But what I am trying to get across is that women are not angels. They are just as likely to engage in abuse, and from the statistics that show men are more dangerous in their actions, one can conclude women are more verbally abusive and psychologically manipulative of their male partners.

You would think feminists would jump at equal DV ratios to ‘prove’ men and women are the same. But in this sitation they are happy to highlight the ‘differences’ for their own benefit.

If you are in an abusive relationship, get out. Call the dozens of helplines that are out there. Seek legal advice if you share assets and/or have children.

A definition of terms

August 30, 2009 2 comments

I am going to be using language from the communities that I feel have relevance to my writings, and to be frank, have impacted my life to such an extent that they have changed my worldview. I naturally use certain terms when ‘keyboard-jockeying’ (writing about theory relating to real life issues, without always explicitly using anecdotal evidence), and I acknowledge the uninformed reader will not grasp several terms.

And this is of course my aim, to inform you, dear reader. I want you to see the stark facts, figures, statistics, irrefutable logic and inconvenient theories. I am not demanding you believe what you tell me. I am going to present some dark truths. Some of you will not like what I have to say. But that is how the cookie crumbles ladies and gentlemen.

So, here is the lowdown on common terms I am likely to use in my day-to-day writtings:

AFC – Average frustrated chump. The average man in today’s society. Synonymous with ‘beta’, although many ‘alphas’ within male groups can be AFC as I will demonstrate.

Alpha – 1) A leader of men, or more importantly, a leader within a male group.

2) A man who women find dominant, and as I shall explain in due course, sexually                        attractive

Beta – Your average Joe in a male group and in society in general. He might have moments of inspiration, but ultimately he is the basic component of society. He wishes to work and to provide, but is frequently frustrated by his lack of success with the female gender as well as in male hierarchies. Losing one (because he drops out of society or learns the art of become a seductive alpha) is no great loss, perhaps even beneficial. Losing great numbers of them will (and is) bring society to its knees.

DV - Domestic Violence. Violent acts, specifically physical, which a partner does to their other half.

Feminism – By this term I mean current 3rd wave, radical (and currently mainstream) feminism. I shall cover this area in detail as it poses an extreme threat to society’s well-being, as it consists of  liars, hypocrites, misandrusts and once you dig deep enough, misogynists.  ‘Moderate’ feminists, or people I prefer to think of as humanists like myself, are a boon to mankind (or is that personkind? Better yet, womankind? I jest, I jest).

(The) Game - Male-female social dynamics and interactions, how they work and what a man, or a woman, needs to do in order to be triumphant at it. ‘To game’ someone is to use the knowledge and techniques of trial and tested seduction on someone.

Omega - A failure of society in that they are unable to succeed in life, specifically with the opposite sex. Think:  40 year old nerds that then shoot up a mother’s meeting.

PUA – Pickup Artist. Men (technically women as well, but that is another issues for another time) who understand how women really think, understand how to read verbal and non-verbal communication and understand ultimately how to seduce them. Some men, such as Lord Byron and Don Juan, are naturals, many are self-taught through an ever growing network of communities online and in real life.

An Introduction to the Malthusianist

August 29, 2009 1 comment

Good evening folks.

I am the Malthusianist.

The goal of my writings on this blog are evident from my moniker. The West, namely the Anglophile nations, are heading to disaster. Not of the type described by Malthus, that is our expenditure of resources exceeds production and imports (although this will also happen, but the aim of the blog is not directly related to discussing this), but of a new Malthusian incident.

The cataclysm will be the collapse of Western Society as we know it. An undersexed, demoralised male workforce will come to realise that the current (radical and popular) feminist movement, ‘socialist’ governments and the media have been lying to them. They will rebel, overtly or subtly. Advances in science and the arts will grind to a halt.  Productivity in all areas will plummet. Meanwhile, a small but ever increasing cadre of  males, the ‘alphas’ (I use that term loosely here, real alphas are useful in small numbers), the bad-boys and the wastrels of society will continue to reap the rewards of their lack of useful participation in society. Some of the ‘rebels’ will be naturals, other will be self-taught. Ever increasing dependence on welfare, the dropping birth rate leaving to a huge deficit in workforce and cover for the incoming baby-boomer pensioners will cause economic collapse, perhaps violent uprisings. (the pool of said disillusioned young men are a prime recruitment ground)

In this blog, I will discuss the lies forced down our throats from all angles. I will discuss why society is heading towards doom. I will discuss how we can rectify this. I will discuss male-female social dynamics, male-male dynamics, and ‘Game’.

This is a small drop in the ocean, but this movement is gaining ground. I am indebted to SoSuave, a website that discusses how men can gain the upper-hand  in all relationships again. From here I was led to Roissy in DC, a self-professed alpha male, but one who understands that a)having too many under-sexed betas will cause problems, but too many men learning to become like him will also cause its own issues. Other hat-tips go to Roosh V and In Mala Fide.
